An Investigation of the Threshold Hypothesis Using ASIS Intelligence Scale and Creative Imagination Cards

In this study, it was aimed to examine the relation-ships between creative imagination and intelligence test threshold hypothesis with younger students. The sample included 492 students aged 5-7 years. Anadolu Sak Intelligence Scale used measure Creative Imagination Cards were creativity. Firstly relationship scores analyzed, then correlation values of lower upper groups compared. To determine at other IQ levels, different from 120 IQ, segmented regression analysis performed. A weak found imagination. results showed that theory not supported in children. Even, according analysis, inverse effect observed general around IQ. This is interpreted as fact contrast hypothesis, level above provides an advantage process for young age groups.
